Kim Il-su travels to Korea and holds an enlarged CEC (Central Executive Committee) meeting to announce the official dissolution of the KCPRPA (Korean Communist Party Reestablishment Preparation Association).

The Chwa-ik Nodong Chohap Chonguk Pyong-ui-hoe Chunbi-hoe (LLUNCPA) is formed

Kim Il-su announces the formation of the Chwa-ik Nodong Chohap Chonguk Pyong-ui-hoe Chunbi-hoe (The Leftist Labor Union National Council Preparation Association, LLUNCPA), which was in reality a continuation of the KCPRPA.

The KCPRPA Incident, or the "Sixth Incident"

Kim Il-su, Kang Mun-su, and some 108 other members of the LLUNCPA were arrested during the May Day demonstration with 1200 copies of communist handbills in their possession. Kang Mun-su became an apostate and confessed. This incident is referred to as the “Korean Internal Operation Committee Incident,” “the KCPRPA Incident,” “the KUTV Graduates Incident,” or the “Sixth Incident” (although chronologically, it was actually the Fifth Incident).
