The Creation of the first Korean Socialist party

The first Korean Socialist organization, Han-in Sahoe-tang (Korean Socialist Party, 한인사회당), is organized in Khabarovsk, Russia, by Yi Tong-hwi (이동휘). It was formed on May 11, 1918 (or April 28th, according to the old Julian calendar used in Russia before it adopted the modern Gregorian calendar).

Alexandra Petrovna Kim is executed by White Army forces

Alexandra Petrovna Kim is executed on September 16, 1918, after being captured by the White Army in Khabarovsk, Russia, during the Russian Civil War. At the time of her death, she was not only secretary of the Khabarovsk Bolshevik organization but also a commissar on the Far Eastern Council of the Commissariat of Foreign Affairs.
